The investment companies VR Equitypartner (VREP) from Frankfurt am Main and AG Capital (AGC) from Vienna are acquiring a majority stake in our company as of 1 February 2024. Together, we are developing IDENTA into a full-service provider in the field of access control and digital identities.
“Our aim was to find strong partners for IDENTA in order to create an excellent foundation for the future. As there is no suitable successor from within our own ranks, we decided to take this step. It is important to us to retain the jobs in Villingen-Schwenningen and to continue to grow,” says Christina Haller. “Nothing will change for the employees as a result of the change in ownership: they will keep their jobs and continue to work under the same management. Both their internal contacts and the established processes will remain the same. This is also supported by the fact that some employees will be involved in middle management in the future.
